MT. KILAGAS: Panoramic view in Cowboy's Camp

Cowboy's Camp is a camping ground situated at the peak of Mt. Kilagas. Located in Kiliog, Libona, Bukidnon, Philippines

The camping ground offers a panoramic view surrounding its mountain. It offers a majestic view of the Kitanglad range, and the city lights of Cagayan De Oro; and it also offers great sunrise and a dramatic view of its sunset. Relying on the weather conditions, a sea of clouds also can be experienced.

Hiking in mountains nowadays will spend a lot of money, but not this one.

Cowboy's camp offers its cheapest rates, day hikes only cost 20 pesos and are worth 50 pesos for overnight campers.  You are required to bring your camping equipment.

No corkage fee. Everyone can bring food or cook their food.

The landmark leading to its jump-off point is across the street from the Kiliog Elementary School. From the jump-off point, the hike to the campsite will take 45 minutes to one hour and a half through the slippery muddy ascent. 

Yet the view is rewarding and worthwhile to our soul.
