The Grand Canyon of the Philippines

Grand Canyon of the Philippines or it is called the 'Lawis Grand Canyon' of Bukidnon. 

Spectacular overlooking view of massive canyons, which Tagoloan river is seen in between gorgeous steep plateaus. It resembles the grand canyon in the US. Located in Sitio Awol, Lunocan, Manolo Fortich, Bukidnon

Getting there:

1. From Cagayan de Oro ride a bus and drop off at barangay Lunocan, Manolo Fortich. In front of their covered court, crossing to lawis.

2. Hire a habal-habal going to Lawis. (100 pesos regular fare) 

* The roads going to lawis are quite rough, not recommended for low clearance cars in the likes of Wigo.

3. Experience the grand canyon for FREE of charge. Baranggay council of Lunocan created a view deck, where every visitor can stay freely.

4. Or, go closer to its river by trekking for an hour to reach it.
